The Last Rehearsal at the Thalia Theater
On the morning of three of their Saturday concerts at the Thalia Theater, the Metropolitan Orchestra of Lisbon opens the doors to the general rehearsal.
For an hour, from 11am to 12pm, for a ticket of 8 Euros, the audience - of all ages! - is invited to enter the rehearsal space and share, at times, the intimacy of the orchestra's work, to watch the last details in the assembly of the musical work, to follow the last directives of the conductor, to witness the complicity between the musicians, to witness the final touches , and the dialogues, and the repetitions that at night, in full concert, will become invisible and silent to the eyes and ears of the spectators, giving place to pure orchestral fluidity.
