Pink for Girls & Blue for Boys wonders about the characteristics of being a girl or being a boy. The pink will only be for girls and the blue will only be for boys? Can girls cry and boys can not? The boys can climb trees, but the girls can not? Where does separation begin and when does it become exclusion? How much courage will it take to defend our ideas and needs?
With the support of four dancers, Tabea Martin explores how to overcome gender stereotypes. The play requires breaking the boundaries of gender thinking and presents a playful approach to how to rethink the issue of identity. It reveals the limits and pressures of the labels, but also the joy of discovering them.
Let's push the borders down. What will happen? Are we going to follow the things that we think are the best for us instead of those that say we are the best for us?
Great for the younger and the older.
